When the Single Six got to 499,999 it went to 500,000. This was in 1968 and the factory forgot that in 1965 they had serial numbered Super Single Sixes in that range.As long as it says POST 151 serial numbers it will fit. PRE 151 (150's) Six's, the frame was a different configuration (they call it the humpback) and grips for it will only fit it. Ruger changed the grip frame starting with the 151 s/n's and it stayed that way. You can tell if it is a "rounded" grip by just looking at it.Hi, Welcome to the forum.
