Predator has cast shaft, while the gx200 has a forged crank. Gx200 has 9 ft/lb torque, but only 5.5 hp. Predator has 8 ft/lb, but 6.5 hp. Basically a Honda or a Briggs will last longer at sustained high RPMs.The engine model # is 12e114 0268 E1. Im looking to replace it with the predator 6.5hp from harbor freight.Any idea if this is a direct fit and how does it perform.
