Re units like MX5, Ampero, Mooer GE200 etc, yes of course you can gig these but it depends on your needs.The fact is you can get a decent representation out of your FRFR-108 if you adhere to some basics: When dialing in your patches mount them in the same way as a PA would, in the vertical position typically on a pole and keep your distance from them as you play to avoid the harshness of the horn up close.The Bigsby and Maestro operate quite similar to each other: they're both spring-loaded and adjust pitch by going up and down in a mellow fashion. The Sideways Vibrola is the outlier among these three because it goes side-to-side to alter the pitch. The Maestro bar is skinnier than the Bigsby and the Sideways Vibrola.I don't mean to come across as rude and anti-Headrush (I've got their FRFR), but in modeling there are the "big 3", being Helix, Axe, and Kemper in no particular order. Some people like the FRFR-108 but I found it lacking volume/clarity when used with a loud rock band. If you get one, I think eventually you'll probably want something better. You get a bigger speaker with more bottom end and maybe more capacity to get over a loud drummer.
