For the megapithecus usually used, but spinos are a decent alternative. It wouldn't be optimal, but at this point after the TLC, where stegos just generically take half damage all the time, essentially having the highest health of any boss dinos, im sure they could do boss fights, mammoths and allos could do it too but probably witI believe the highest you can set difficulty on single player is 1.0. But when you set the difficulty higher, it results in higher level dinos you can tame, which then in turn make the bosses easier because the bosses levels/hitpoints stay the same, while your tames are able to have higher HP and more melee damage.And I do recommend you bring stronger dinos to arena with high armor saddles. you can't really defeat higher difficulty bosses with 150lvl tames. 40k hp 800 melee rexes with 90 armor saddles. 21k hp 1000 melee therizinos with 120 armor saddles..
