Winchester data uses the 1.1690" close-to-SAAMI-max OAL for nearly all their data. Most loaders I know run JHP to 1.10, FMJ to 1.12-1.14 and save the major loads for 1.15+. SAAMI says we have between 1.00 and 1.70 for an OAL to work with in the 9mm Luger.I plan to load 9mm lead bullets in 147 gr and our own powder coated cast 9mm bullets that weigh right at 130 grs. For the 130 gr I generally extrapolate off of data for 124 gr plated bullets and have done quite well thus far using Green Dot, Unique, AA#2, American Select and Winchester 231. ...
